People: We will not bow to domination. We will guard our openness with wisdom.

Leader: We will preserve cultural integrity.

People: We will demand mutuality in exchange.

Leader: We will be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. (Matthew 10:16)

People: Innocence with wisdom, openness with discernment.

People: Amen.
